Mostkost Kustom Meet Video online

I now have the video of the "Mostkost Kustom Meet" (see entry below) online which was shot by the local TV station BTV. It features a couple of cars and an interview with me.

Mostkost Kustom Meet

Today we visited a small local meeting near Gmunden in Atzbach. 30 Cars showed up and it was a nice evening. I was even interviewed for a local TV-station which did a report about the event.

Cleaning the interior and a great cruising night

I spent another weekend at our friends Geralds and Afra´s house in Gmunden where my Eldorado is stored. Today we changed the belts and did some interior cleaning. It was amazing how much dirt we could extract from the carpet and floor mats. They look like new now.

Cruising night!

Later it was time for another great cruising evening with my friends from Gmunden. Again we had 4 cars cruising around the lake. Here are some impressions:

Repairing the passenger side power window - Video shoot

Today it was time to repair the power window on the passenger side. My buddy Gerald and I found out that the window regulator was dead. So we had to disassemble the whole door to get the motor out. It came out pretty easily. Then we had to drill out some rivets and replace the motor with a new one. Putting everything back together took some time as it was not very easy to reassemble everything again. Eventually we made it after a lot of sweating and cursing. Now the window works perfectly again.

After we finished working it was time to go cruising. We met Richard and Alex with their cars and Gerald did some professional filming for our next video. It was a picture perfect sunset and we got some great shots.

Cruising night with friends

Tonight 3 friends and I had a nice cruising night in Gmunden as it was a really warm and perfect night. It also was the first cruise for my 1981 Eldorado which was finally finished and now is fully drive-able. In the afternoon I replaced one of the brake hoses which caused the brakes to be stuck. The other cars in the cruise night were Alex with his 63 Buick Riviera, Richard with his 65 Impala and Gerald with his 67 Cadillac.

A list of things that I repaired during the last 6 months

After a long day in the garage repairing my Cadillac, my buddy Gerald and I sat together and we were discussing what we achieved during the last 6 months since I brought my car to Gerald´s garage were my Eldo has its new home.
